Minera Dead Sea Salt

Like others have written here, I purchased in the 19lb bags in bulk to use for my psoriasis for over 13 years- and it is still the best non-prescription remedy. I would have given it 5 stars but now it's out of my price range. I hope someday that discount returns. There are other companies that sell a high grade dead sea salt but Epsoak is my favorite.

I would rate the salt alone 5 stars, but the bulk discount is gone. I used to purchase six 19 lb bags (was 20 lb, until they dropped to 19 lb, a tactic many companies use), regularly, a did so for more than a decade. Then the discount disappeared. I use it to soak every other night for my severe psoriasis, using 6-8 cups in a large tub for about 90 minutes. Been doing this for more than 20 years to keep from having to do the really strong immune compromising drugs that are peddled by the large drug manufacturers, which I did take for more than 12 yrs with horrible side effects. Dead Sea salt is a true gift from God. And Minera brand is the best on the market. Just wished they'd start giving the bulk discounts again, because I use it as a true medical necessity, but insurance will not cover. I swear by it's proven miraculous results, since I have been 80% covered in erythrodermic psoriasis - the absolute worst psoriasis there is. And chemotherapy drugs were the only thing that helped before I discovered Dead Sea salt. It truly tames the patches, thickness, and redness to a liveable result, which makes it tolerable and me extremely more comfortable. I just want San Francisco Salt / Epsoak to know that they could and should go back to their bulk discounts, as they had before and sold to me for over a decade. I use it as a true medical necessity, and I hope they will consider discounts for those of us who truly need and appreciate their product.

Soaking in this water loaded with minerals and mystery is cosmic. So much is being discovered about the power of “primary water’ and plasma, it’s no surprise that this morning soak brings energy, invigoration and inspiration to my day. And combined with lavender my senses and my body are feeling a lot of love.

I am so happy to have found this Minera dead sea salt. I take frequent bath with it and it really helps my Psoriasis.

I've been purchasing this product for a few years now. My last bag showed 20 pounds and now the bags are being sold at 19 pounds...same price. Where is that extra pound of salt? That's a LOT missing. I'm going somewhere else. I'm bummed.

I've been using Minera Dead Sea Salts for my psoriasis since about 2007. I agree, there does appear to be somewhat more inert material (pebbles, sand etc.) in the shipments. I accept this as a consequence of harvesting a natural mineral product, which is not a perfect process.

I take care of this by pre-dissolving the dose of salt I am going to use in a pan (about 1 gallon). The sea salts dissolve, leaving the inert mineral debris behind. Carefully, I decant the clear salt brine into the bathtub. I then discard the undissolved portion in the trash.

I have been ordering the salt for many years, but now it feels like the sand beach is in my bathtub too.
In addition they have removed the quantity discount for the 19lbs bags or do they just hide the option? I'm disappointed

I've been finding that the last few batches I've ordered contain progressively more and more rocks... And, when I've called to discuss this matter the line was busy.

I have been ordering this product in bulk for many years now to use in the bath. Having so many chronic health issues, a salt bath can be a soothing respite. Recently, however, I opened up a bag from my most recent order and found a lot of pebbles mixed into the coarser grain salt. Not sure what's going on with quality control there, but I'm concerned about my plumbing, not to mention the lack of product being displaced by rock debris. I hope my bag was a fluke and not the new normal. Waiting to hear back from the company about why this happened. If this is acceptable to the company, I may have to find my salt elsewhere. Very disappointed.

I melt after using a half a bag of this to spoil myself it is so relaxing I feel like I let go of the world. Incredible!

I bought this because so many other bath salts add fragrances and other stuff. I have sensitive skin and eczema and fragrances and my skin don’t agree.

It’s super relaxing to use in a bath, literally makes you a little more buoyant and emits no odors (I can smell at least).

I have really painful and itchy eczema a few times a year and have tried everything but this seems to speed up the healing time! I also eat gluten and mostly dairy free which helps and follow medical medium’s advice.

I have suffered with psoriasis on the soles of my feet for over 10 years , it was literally crippling at times . I tried every prescription ointment and cream available some even made it worse . I can’t even believe the improvement I am 75% better. I soak everyday for 20 minutes in a basin with warm water and 1 cup of the salt . It took about one month to see improvement .

Hi, I discovered help with these, about 3 yr ago for fibromyalgia. I was sewing a very slippery fabric, and struggle anyway with my hands hurting. To hold the fabric still I thought of spraying my hands with the DS spray I had made for the purpose of giving myself magnesium because of having Lyme Disease. I used it 3x during the hr. After the 3x, I noticed suddenly that my hands were painless. From there I used it all over and not only did the FM come under control, I also had a bone heal that had broken 3 yrs before and never yet healed; but remained sore and as it was my left ankle, I could not bend the knee to match the right. As a fluke I rubbed some into a cold sore then rinsed several years ago. (I USE to get them a lot). I could feel it working. I did this several times a day. The ugly thing was gone in 3 days. I try to message some in every couple months and hardly EVER get then any more. Of i think i might be, i message some on and rinse. It doesn't even surface. Prescriptions meds can't even do this..I love this stuff for cold sores alone.

I love to blend Dead Sea salt with Epsom and Himalayan plus add essential oils--fabulous feeling during and after. It definitely helps with the itching of psoriasis. Thank you!

I had tried just about everything for the psoriasis on my legs. Epsom salt soaks helped but I still got regular breakouts. When I first started with Minera I was soaking every other day. I saw substantial improvement, and after over a year, I rarely have even the tiniest spot. I now soak twice a week and apply my own homemade lotion with essential oils and I can honestly say that I have it under control!

My daughter uses this for her gutatte psoriasis (caused from her one and only strep throat infection) and has achieved great results! I decided to try this after getting a severe poison ivy rash that would not clear with over the counter creams and sprays. After the first night of soaking in it I noticed a huge difference. I then soaked once a day for a week and it is completely gone. I usually have to see a doctor for steroid shots and creams and fight poison ivy rashes for weeks but this did the trick and I couldn't be happier! Along with putting the salts in the bath water I mixed the salt with a little bit of water and applied it straight to the rash and rubbed it like you would do with a salt scrub then rinsed after letting it soak for about a minute. The best remedy for the muscle and joint pain and stiffness, inflammation and water retention, and skin and body detoxification I experience. It is needed and does a miraculous job in helping to keep my autoimmune disease under control. I have been praising its effects to everyone that will listen.

We switched to a "salt" system on our hot tub about 6 years ago. No regrets and we used this salt from day one. My wife and I both are in somewhat physically demanding jobs as business owners and we soak about 15 minutes a day in our tub. PEBBLES in my my salt! ROCKS that NEVER dissolved! Out of 2 cups I got maybe 8 small pebbles. Probably more at the bottom of the bag. Very disappointed.

I bought this because I had the beginning of Eczema on my face. I read of the benefits and success with Eczema. After one bath with the Dead Sea Salt, the redness went away. It hasn't come back since. That was about a month ago. Very happy with product.

Nothing helps my psoriasis and complex skin problems like this product. I'm amazed. First I tried a 5 lb bag and the results were so amazing I just ordered the 20lb bag.
